We at Tutu Doctors offer you custom, hand-crafted tutus and costumes for the ballet. A custom tutu is designed to fit like a glove, wears like armor, yet allows a dancer to move with ease on stage. We also have the combined experience of sixty years of sewing.

Sometimes it is difficult for customers to understand the cost factors of a made-to-order tutu. It takes 40 hours to make a tutu bottom. We use nine layers of gathered net. The bodice and basque are cut to the dancer's exact measurements. Our bodices are boned with professional boning. We also make our own cording. This is the foundation of our tutu before any decorations are added.

We have provided small ballet companies with extensive refurbishing and/or replacement of classical ballet costumes. We have also been called upon to decorate and customize "catalogue" and pre-made costumes for dance studios and individual competitions.
